NordStar Airlines informs about the introduction of new rules governing the arrival of passengers to the Russian Federation by air.
In accordance with the resolutions of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation No. 7 of 18.03.2020 and No. 22 of 27.07.2020:
In the absence of properly executed documents, foreign citizens and stateless persons may be denied air transportation.
1 - The document may be submitted in other languages if it is the official language of the state of registration of the organization that issued the medical document, and a translation of the document into Russian must be attached, the fidelity of which is certified by a consular official of the Russian Federation.
2 - The test for the presence of coronavirus should be carried out by PCR and made no earlier than three calendar days before arrival on the territory of Russia.
Passengers must observe mandatory self-isolation for a period of 14 days from the moment of arrival on the territory of the Russian Federation.
In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 16.03.2020 No. 635-r (as amended. Order of the Government of the Russian Federation of 02.09.2020 N 2236-p), from September 2, 2020, entry into the territory of the Russian Federation is allowed to citizens of foreign states listed below, entering the Russian Federation from their countries of citizenship:

Passengers on NordStar flights following the airline's transfer flights:
With the passage of the border at the transfer airport on the territory of the Russian Federation, they can use the simplified procedure for performing customs operations with respect to baggage and register it as a transfer at the airport of departure to the final destination.

Registration for the carriage of baggage to the final destination does not release the passenger from responsibility for the presence of goods in it that are subject to customs declaration or prohibited for import/export. Compliance with the requirements provided for in the Regulation "On the Simplified Procedure for performing Customs Operations in respect of goods accepted by the air carrier for carriage in accompanied baggage" does not exempt the transfer passenger from complying with other requirements of the legislation of the Customs Union and the legislation of the Russian Federation on customs affairs.

NordStar has been operating flights from Rostov-on-Don to Cairo since February 20.
The entry of foreign citizens is allowed in accordance with the terms of Intergovernmental Agreements.
All passengers over the age of 6 years, including Egyptian citizens, arriving in Egypt, must have a printed certificate with a negative result of a COVID-19 test made by PCR no earlier than 72 hours before the departure of a direct flight to Egypt. The certificate must be in Arabic or English with the seal of the laboratory, the exact date and time of the selection of the material. The document must be issued by an official laboratory accredited in the country of origin.

NordStar Airlines operates direct flights from Moscow to Yerevan.
On flights to Armenia, passengers from among foreign citizens who have the right to enter Armenia are accepted for transportation. All passengers on arrival undergo medical control and are required to conduct a 14-day self-isolation. Self-isolation can be canceled after receiving a negative result of the PCR test.
In accordance with the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 26.01.2021 No. 140-r, citizens of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are allowed to enter the Russian Federation - The Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic) during the period from February 1 to March 1, 2021 (inclusive) on flights from Yerevan to Domodedovo Airport, subject to the presentation of valid identity documents recognized by the Russian Federation in this capacity, as well as negative results of tests for a new coronavirus infection displayed in the mobile application "Traveling without COVID-19" in the form of a QR code.
